I am married to the most amazing William Chung and mama to our little “bear” Karis. I experienced the love of Jesus at a young age and received a call into ministry in high school while on a life-changing mission trip in Panama. My passion in life is to grow in intimacy with Christ, see people encounter the love of Jesus through the Word of God and inspire others to live out their God-given potential and purpose in every season of their lives. I also have a heart for women and children in the context of global missions. I long to see underserved, lost and forgotten communities experience God’s love and be transformed spiritually and physically through the Gospel and provision and care of His people. 

I am Co-Founder of The Meeting Place TMP, which is a monthly prayer gathering, training center and church. The vision of TMP is to gather the hungry and broken to meet and walk with God. I have also mobilized, trained and led college students and young adults on short-term mission trips to reach children and youth for Christ in rural communities in Latin America through 4 Christ Mission for over 10 years. Through preaching the Gospel, education programs and local outreaches, we witnessed countless salvations amongst the youth and their families! 

When I am not chasing after my baby and going on dates with my husband, I am trying new recipes, reading or organizing. I was born and raised in Southern California and absolutely love the beach and warm weather. I love laughing, meaningful conversations and taking long walks in nature. Upon working in public schools in Los Angeles for a few years, I received an M.A and Ph.D. in Comparative Education from UCLA.
