Our Story
We met for the first time on a mission trip when we were in high school. After years of knowing each other, we led our first mission trip together to Oaxaca, Mexico. I (Will) fell in love with Andrea. I was completely undone by her brokenness in Christ and heart to serve His people on the mission field. For the next 2 years, Andrea rejected me and I had to pursue her. We went on a journey of getting to know one another before we even started dating!
Andrea loves her salads and frozen yogurt. I love fried chicken and creamy ice cream.
She loves nature and animals. I am afraid of anything that is not human.
This woman loves her iced lattes. I am a man of hot americanos.
Her greatest desire was to live abroad for missions. I wanted to plant a local church here in California.
That last difference was a big one. We weren’t exactly sure how God was going to tie these two passions together but we finally started dating our senior year in college. After 4 years of dating, we finally got engaged and then married on April 11, 2015. We now live in Orange County, CA and love going on dates and traveling together. We have a beautiful daughter named Karis, who loves laughing and running any moment she gets her feet on the ground.
For the past 10 years, we have served the Lord together by pastoring youth and college students at local churches, leading mission trips in several countries and moving overseas to serve local communities in Mexico. Upon returning from Mexico in 2017, we started a monthly prayer gathering, house of prayer and now a church community in Orange County, California. The greatest joy we have in life is the simple fact that we get to love and serve God together. We are not only best friends but we are also co-laborers building His Kingdom and loving our family.
