Update from Willdrea: TMP & 4CM
Ever since Andrea and I were in Mexico, God placed a desire on our hearts to start a prayer meeting where people can come and meet with God. After many months of praying and fasting we sensed the Lord leading us to start a monthly prayer meeting to gather hungry and broken people to come and encounter God.
The vision came from Psalm 27:4 and Psalm 63:1-3. In both instances David was longing to be in the house of the Lord. It was his one desire and one request to be in the presence of the Lord all the days of his life. We believe there are hundreds and thousands of people who are hungry and thirsty to be in the presence of God. They have looked to many places but don't know where to go to meet with God. We also believe there are many broken people like the Samaritan Woman and Zacchaeus who have filled their longing hearts with things that have left them dissatisfied, broken and lost. It is for this reason that we decided to start a monthly gathering where people can come to meet with God.
Our heart for The Meeting Place is threefold: 1) People will meet God through worship, 2) People will meet God through the Word and 3) People will meet God through prayer. While praying, God has strongly put it upon our hearts that He will meet with His people through these three channels.
4 Christ Mission
Meanwhile, Andrea and I will still be giving full-time work into 4 Christ Missions. I am serving as the Ministry Director and she is serving as the Missions Director. Summer missions is coming fast so we are spending much of our time preparing and planning for the upcoming trips.
We actually just came back a few days ago from Los Mochis, Sinaloa. A team of 16 UC College Students spent their spring break serving on the field. It was truly an amazing time together. We were able to preach at many churches, schools and rehab centers. We even had two guys on our team who had never got baptized get baptized in a natural hot spring in Choix Sinaloa! It was such a beautiful sight to see.
Andrea and I wanted to say thank you to those who have supported us in your prayers and financial partnership. Your prayers continue to destroy the works of the enemy and help advance God’s Kingdom! Your giving allows us to be free from financial burdens so that we can focus on time, energy and efforts into 4 Christ Mission and The Meeting Place.
Here are some things that Andrea and I are asking for you to continue to keep in your prayers for us.
- 4 Christ Mission. We are going through a lot of structural and leadership adjustments within the organization. We have grown so much just over the last year. With the growth of our ministry, we feel God leading us to make adjustments to faithfully advance His Kingdom. We need your prayers for wisdom, direction, unity and a continual outpouring of His Spirit!
- The Meeting Place. We had our first official gathering this past Monday and we had almost 80 people come out! So many were touched by the Holy Spirit! Would you pray that God would meet every single person that comes to our meetings? Would you pray that God will continue to guide and lead the direction of our meetings?
- Finances. Pray for financial provision. Since our last update, we have been blessed with a few supporters. But we are still praying and believing that God will meet all of our needs throughout the year. We have been particularly praying for monthly supporters to partner with us for the years to come. All financial support will be funneled through 4 Christ Mission.

In February we had a preliminary at our apartment to share our heart and vision behind the Meeting Place.
Just this month, we had our first official gathering for The Meeting Place. Hungry and broken people gathered to meet with God! Our apartment was too small during our last meeting so we moved to another building. Thank you God's Image ministry!
